For more than 125 years we have designed and built ships to comply with the highest quality standards of systematic, precise manu-facturing. International Quality Management Standards have been introduced in the last few decades and Lürssen has been certified DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 since 1994. That quality, however, also encompasses intensive testing and the experience won in the building of more than 13,000 vessels since 1875. Lürssen Werft
The Fr. Lürssen Werft is the heart of the Lürssen Group. Its offices in Bremen-Vegesack, and its design and production facilities in Lemwerder, are the foundation for its range of highly sophisticated products - yachts, naval vessels and special ships. The expertise and facilities of former Bremer Vulkan Marineschiffbau in Vegesack have been fully integrated into Fr. Lürssen Werft since 1992. With its large, covered graving dock, that site can now also produce frigates and corvettes to Lürssen standards.
